What a start to the year we have had from being nominated from the ISA as club of the year to actually winning the award. It was a great event sponsored by the ISA and i was happy to accept the award on behalf of Cullaun Sailing Club.
Thank you to all for your contributions, big and small. Whether through ideas, effort, or encouragement, you have helped us along the way and its not just for the committe but for all members. This award is a testament to the power of teamwork and the great work that has gone into the club over the last number of years
On Saturday 14th June we will hold an open day at the club with some try sailing and we will invite all members old and new to celebrate this accomplishment together Make sure to mark it in your diaries.
Last year we were lucky enough to be awarded funds to help purchase new training boats so along with our trusty omega training boats we now also have three brand new Hartley 12 boats that were delivered to the club this week and we are looking forward to getting them rigged and out on the water in the next few weeks after the easter break. These will be a great addition to the club and will be used for the adult Training courses and the Summer Camps
Adult Sailing Classes
If you would like to try sailing with in a fun relaxed and safe environment this is for you. We run adult training evenings for adults who are interested in learning to sail.
This course will introduce you to the basic boat handling techniques & background knowledge necessary to get you started The aim of this course is to provide a brief introduction to sailing for novices. By the end of the course, participants will have had a short introduction to the sport of sailing, including basic boat handling techniques and essential background knowledge.

If you still havent paid your Membership it is now due so follow the links below . This year space in the compound is very limited. All members will now get a token for their trolley to prove membership and any boats not registered will be asked to be removed
